UPDATE: It was a small nail, patched for $25 and I'm
back on the
road!
Getting the front right looked at...slow puncture in the last few days. Of course, just after I had too get the valve stem replaced in the same wheel. Just watch the tire be non-repairable.
Brief AMA over! :) Thanks all who participated! :D

Do you really feel like a “guest”, or like a penitent in Tire Purgatory where all your tire sins will come out and be examined?

Nope, just a
near
empty pair of Gumball machines with jelly
beans in one and chocolate coated peanuts in the other!

Is that a former “firestone” tire shop?

No idea! For
157,000kms, she’s really still in decent shape overall. I’ve got an appointment coming to get a little rust sorted out from our salty winter roads
, but otherwise she’s mechanically sound with no rust anywhere else. Hoping to get another year or two yet I imagine!

If you go lick all the Michelins they have, do they become yours?

There is a Keurig machine with free co

Somewhere in between...? I have let the rear tires get pretty worn (not unsafe though), but nobody has said anything yet! :P

Hows the music? Last time I was in a tire shop, they were playing really low-quality covers of popular music, and it was strangely disconcerting. I finally understood why my company’s retail people were so happy when we switched from covers to properly licensed original artist music.

Could be...? They sell Firestone. It's the GCR Tire in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Will you lick some of the new tires and report back on the taste differences between various tire categories? Does an all season car tire taste the same as an off-road tire?

Sadly, I did not have a chance to lick them, but can confirm the different stacks do seem to smell slightly different? :P
